You've done the foundational work. Here's what's next.
VITAL EDGE is not an entry point. It's for patients who have already built the foundation: labs optimized, hormones addressed, body composition moving in the right direction. Peptide therapy at this stage isn't a shortcut. It's a precision tool in the hands of a physician who knows exactly where you are and what you're trying to accomplish.
Let's be clear about what we're talking about.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body. They're not steroids. They're not hormones in the traditional sense. They're biological messengers that influence specific processes, whether that's tissue repair, growth hormone secretion, inflammation regulation, or recovery.
The interest in peptides for performance and longevity isn't coming from the supplement industry. It's coming from clinical research and from physicians who are paying attention to the evidence.
The reason medical supervision matters is the same reason it matters for any other clinical tool: dosing, timing, interactions, and monitoring determine whether you get the outcome you're looking for.
Code 1 Concierge is not a peptide free-for-all clinic. There is too much "bro science" out there and keeping patients safe is the highest priority. As with any therapy, the questions are, "How effective is this peptide? What are the proposed benefits? How would we measure those benefits? And what is the risk of harm from using this peptide?"
Ordering peptides online without clinical oversight is a different thing entirely from a physician-managed protocol built around your specific labs and goals. VITAL EDGE is the latter.
What the protocol actually looks like.
- Clinical intake and labs review to confirm the patient is an appropriate candidate
- Protocol design based on specific goals — recovery, body composition, sleep, or performance
- Physician-managed dosing and administration guidance
- Ongoing monitoring and adjustment based on response
- Direct physician access throughout
- Body protection compound. Used for tissue repair, gut health, and injury recovery.
- BPC-157's role in injury recovery is especially promising. In combination with peptides such as TB-500, it may provide superior recovery than "rest and recover" alone.
- A growth hormone releasing hormone analog that stimulates natural GH secretion.
- Used for body composition, sleep quality, and recovery.
- A naturally occurring copper peptide complex that functions as a cellular regenerator in skin care.
- Relatively well-studied — shown to stimulate collagen & elastin production, accelerate wound healing, and reduce skin inflammation.
Is this for you?
- You're already a Code 1 member with optimized foundational health markers
- You're in the performance optimization phase of your care, not the stabilization phase
- You have specific goals around recovery, body composition, sleep quality, skin care, or performance that your current protocol isn't fully addressing
- You want peptide therapy managed by a physician who knows your full picture, not sourced from a website
- You're looking for peptides as a starting point before addressing foundational health
- You're not a current Code 1 member or willing to become one
- You want a prescription without ongoing medical management
The peptide market is largely unregulated. That's not a small detail.
The compounding pharmacy landscape, the gray-market peptide suppliers, the research chemical sources — the quality, purity, and dosing accuracy vary enormously. A physician-managed protocol means pharmaceutical-grade compounds, clinically appropriate dosing, monitoring for response and side effects, and a physician who can adjust or stop the protocol if something isn't right.
The difference between a well-managed peptide protocol and a poorly sourced one isn't subtle.
One produces measurable results safely. The other is a variable you don't want in your body.
Questions worth asking before you start.
Are peptides legal?
It is important to understand that not all peptides are FDA-approved medications. Some are compounded medications, which means they are made by a pharmacy for an individual patient based on a clinician's prescription. Compounded medications are not reviewed by the FDA in the same way as commercially manufactured drugs. Because peptide regulations continue to evolve, we only use peptide therapies when clinically appropriate and when they can be obtained through legitimate pharmacy channels.
How are peptides administered?
Most peptides are given as a small subcutaneous injection, similar to how insulin or GLP-1 medications are injected. The needle is very small, and most patients tolerate the injections well.
The medication is usually injected into the fatty tissue of the abdomen, thigh, or hip area. We teach you how to draw up and administer the medication safely, how to rotate injection sites, and how to store the medication properly.
Some peptides may also be available in topical or oral forms, depending on the peptide, the treatment goal, and pharmacy availability.
How quickly do peptides work?
Peptides usually do not work overnight. Some patients notice changes within the first few weeks, especially in sleep, recovery, soreness, or discomfort. However, tissue repair, tendon recovery, skin changes, body composition changes, and hormone-signaling effects usually take longer.
For musculoskeletal injuries, we typically think in terms of weeks to months, not days. A mild tendon or soft-tissue problem may improve over several weeks, while more chronic injuries may require a longer treatment window and still need proper rehab, nutrition, sleep, and load management.
Peptides work best when they are part of a complete plan.
Is VITAL EDGE included in my membership?
No. Vital Edge peptides are an additional service available only to Code 1 Concierge patients, and we source only from the most reliable and well-vetted compounding pharmacies.
Can I use peptides alongside TRT or HRT?
In most cases, yes. Because VITAL EDGE lives inside a full Code 1 membership, any peptide protocol is managed in the context of everything else you're on. Interactions and timing are accounted for from the start.
Performance optimization starts with the right foundation. If you're there, let's talk.
VITAL EDGE is available to Code 1 members where clinically appropriate. Membership starts at $249/month with a one-time $1,999 enrollment fee.
